By accessing or using the Lumin Hosting website and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Lumin Hosting ("we", "us", or "our").
Lumin Hosting provides managed WordPress hosting services, including but not limited to: server provisioning, WordPress installation and management, domain management, SSL certificate provisioning, automated backups, and related infrastructure services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with reasonable notice.
To use the Services, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Services.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these acceptable use policies.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis depending on your selected billing cycle. All fees are quoted in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees.
Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, your site will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After the billing period ends, your site and its data may be deleted.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days, contact us for a full refund. Refund requests after the 14-day period are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for all hosted sites. This excludes scheduled maintenance windows, which will be communicated in advance when possible. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Services. In the event of extended downtime caused by our infrastructure, affected customers may be eligible for service credits at our discretion.
We perform automated daily backups of hosted sites as a convenience. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure backup integrity, backups are provided on an "as-is" basis. You are ultimately responsible for maintaining your own copies of important data. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from backup failures or other causes.
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to the Services. By using the Services, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, and serve your content as necessary to provide the Services. We retain all rights to the Lumin Hosting platform, branding, software, and documentation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumin Hosting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lumin Hosting and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property provisions.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the website or via email. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
